Abstract

SISTEMAS PARA FORNECER IRRIGAÇÃO EM UM OLHO DE UM PACIENTE DURANTE UM PROCEDIMENTO MÉDICO E CIRÚRGICO DE VITRECTOMIA. Um sistema cirúrgico de vitrectomia é aqui descrito. O sistema cirúrgico inclui uma sonda de vitrectomia tendo uma porção de corte compreendendo um tubo de corte interno, um tubo de corte externo, e um orifício externo. O tubo de corte interno é móvel e m relação ao tubo de corte externo para cortar humor vítreo durante um procedi mento de vitrectomia. O sistema cirúrgico inclui adicionalmente um motor configurado para mover o tubo de corte interno em relação ao tubo de corte externo e um ou mais sensores de pressão ligados à sonda de vitrectomia para medir uma pressão próxima a uma porção distal da sonda de vitrectomia e fornecer retroalimentação de pressão.
