Abstract
SISTEMA E MÉTODO PARA ENTREGAR CONTEÚDO EM UMA REDE DE ENTREGA DE CONTEÚDO. Um método e sistema de entrega de conteúdo baseados no pré-aprovisionamento de conteúdo acionado pela popularidade em uma rede de entrega de conteúdo, CDN (102, 202). Em um método, um elemento de rede (118, 212, 400) pode obter (502A) dados de tendência relativos a um conteúdo particular a ser distribuído pela CDN. O elemento de rede pode também obter (502B) dados demográficos de assinantes servidos pela CDN. Uma distribuição de popularidade esperada do conteúdo particular é prevista (504) com base em uma métrica derivada de pelo menos um dos dados de tendência e dos dados demográficos. Uma política de encaminhamento para encaminhamento e/ou pré-aprovisionamento do conteúdo para um ou mais nós da CDN é realizada (506) no elemento de rede com base na distribuição de popularidade esperada do conteúdo relativo à região geográfica servida pela CDN.
