resumo patente de invenção: "método para cortar um material de processo sob a aplicação de energia ultrassônica assim como um dispositivo de corte". o método serve para operar um dispositivo de corte (1), o qual está destinado a cortar um material de processo, especificamente um alimento (8) e o qual tem pelo menos uma lâmina (11), a qual é acionada por um dispositivo de acionamento (12) e para a qual energia ultrassônica é suprida de uma unidade de ultrassom (4) por meio de pelo menos um conversor de energia (13) e um elemento de acoplamento (15). a invenção provê uma unidade de controle (6), a qual controla a unidade de ultrassom (4) de tal modo que a frequência da energia de ultrassom suprida para a lâmina (11) por meio de somente um elemento de acoplamento (15) é ajustada entre pelo menos uma primeira e uma segunda frequências de operação (f1a, f1b) ou que a energia ultrassônica é suprida para a lâmina (11) em uma primeira frequência de operação (f1) por meio de um primeiro elemento de acoplamento (15a) e em uma segunda frequência de operação (f2) por meio de um segundo elemento de acoplamento (15b) cujas frequências são fixas ou são ajustadas entre pelo menos duas frequências de operação (f1, f2 ou f1a, f1b; f2a, f2b).
