resumo patente de invenção: "mancal de empuxo de rolo afunilado de fileira dupla para capacidade de carga aprimorada". a presente invenção refere-se a uma montagem de mancal de empuxo de fileira dupla (10) que inclui uma placa inferior (11) que tem pistas cônicas internas e externas (12, 13), uma placa superior (14) com uma pista plana (15), e respectivos conjuntos de rolos internos e externos identicamente formados (16, 17) montados em respectivas gaiolas internas e externas (18, 19). quando o mancal é completamente montado, os ápices dos rolos internos e externos são direcionados no mesmo ponto (a) em um eixo geométrico (x) do mancal. várias relações no que se refere ao tamanho e formato dos rolos são determinadas para maximizar a capacidade de suportar carga da montagem do mancal enquanto ocupa o mesmo envelope espacial como aquele de uma montagem de mancal de empuxo de fileira única (ba) que pode suportar apenas uma carga menor.
