Abstract
métodos e planos para amenizar colisões em redes sem fio. a presente invenção refere-se a lógica para a mitigação das colisões entre as transmissões de transmissores e receptores que operam a diferentes larguras de banda sem fio. a lógica dos receptores pode ser capaz de receber e detectar os sinais transmitidos em larguras de banda mais estreitas. em várias formas de concretização, os receptores compreendem uma lógica de avaliação de canal livre que implementa um detector de intervalo de guarda (ou prefixo cíclico) para detectar as transmissões em larguras de banda mais estreitas. por exemplo, um receptor de largura de banda de dois megahertz (mhz) pode implementar um detector de intervalo de guarda para detectar sinais de largura de banda de 1 mhz e um receptor de largura de banda de 16 mhz pode implementar a lógica para detectar um ou mais sinais de largura de banda de 1 mhz e qualquer outra combinação de, por exemplo, sinais de largura de banda de 1, 2, 4 e 8 mhz. em muitas formas de concretização, o detector de intervalo de guarda pode ser implementado para detectar intervalos de guarda de um canal designado como um canal primário, bem como em um ou mais canais não primários.
