Abstract

MÉTODOS DE DIGESTÃO DE MATERIAL LIGNOCELULÓSICO, E DE DIGESTÃO DE APARAS DE MADEIRA. Um método de digestão de material lignocelulósico inclui as etapas de fornecer o material lignocelulósico e uma composição cáustica com um pH de pelo menos cerca de 10. A composição cáustica inclui água, um hidróxido de metal alcalino terroso ou alcalino, e até cerca de 1 por cento, em peso com base no peso total da composição de um aditivo de digestão ramificado. O aditivo de digestão ramificado tem a estrutura: em que A é pelo menos um grupo alquilenoxi e cada grupo alquilenoxi tem de 2 a 4 átomos de carbono, n é 0 ou 1, B é um grupo de hidrocarboneto alifático ramificado tendo de 8 a 15 átomos de carbono, X é H ou BO-(A)m, e cada m é, independentemente, um valor médio de 3 a 30, e em que a composição cáustica tem um Tempo de Umectação de Draves de menos de 100 segundos, como determinado utilizando o ASTM D2281.
