resumo patente de invenção: "compressor/bomba de alta pressão de pistão axial". a presente invenção refere-se a uma máquina axial tendo uma cunha, que aciona uma pluralidade de pistões, e uma placa retentora, para manter as sapatas deslizantes em contato com a cunha. um mecanismo de posicionamento central para a placa retentora, no qual as sapatas deslizantes colocadas na cunha têm uma parte estendendo-se por um respectivo furo na placa retentora, com cada uma das sapatas deslizantes acoplando um ponto na parte lateral do seu respectivo furo, para limitar o movimento da placa retentora paralelo à superfície angular plana da cunha. descreve-se também um sistema de separação de óleo, para remover óleo do gás a ser comprimido, de modo que o óleo removido drene para o decantador de óleo. um sistema de lubrificação de óleo tem uma cavidade em torno do eixo de acionamento, para receber óleo do decantador, e espalhar o óleo por uma passagem para os orifícios de descarga na cunha, para espalhar óleo na superfície angular plana da cunha.
