resumo "ar condicionado e método de operação do mesmo" o ar condicionado da presente invenção inclui: uma pluralidade de unidades internas providas respectivamente contendo um trocador de calor interno; uma pluralidade de unidades externas respectivamente providas com um trocador de calor com refrigerante-água para realização de troca de calor entre o refrigerante e a água da fonte térmica, conectado a pluralidade de unidades internas via trajetos para o refrigerante, e respectivamente instaladas com as unidades externas pcbs; um trajeto de água de fonte térmica conectado aos trocadores de calor com refrigerante-água; uma bomba instalada no trajeto de água da fonte térmica; uma válvula de escoamento variável instalada no trajeto de água da fonte térmica e tendo um grau de abertura ajustável; um controlador central que controla a pluralidade de unidades externas; e um painel de controle de válvula de escoamento variável que controla o grau de abertura da válvula de escoamento variável de forma a controlar a taxa de escoamento da água da fonte térmica. o painel de controle de válvula de escoamento variável é conectado nas unidades externas pcbs via primeiras linhas de comunicação e ao controlador central via segundas linhas de comunicação que são diferentes daquelas primeiras no modo de comunicação, sendo feita a conversão protocolada entre o controlador central e as unidades externas pcbs de modo que o controlador central possa controlar tanto as unidades externas quanto a taxa de escoamento variável via o painel de controle de válvula de escoamento variável com a estrutura podendo ser simplificada em relação ao caso em que pontos de intercâmbio adicionais são disponibilizados entre o controlador central e as unidades externas.
