resumo patente de invenção: "correia trapezoidal de transmissão, comportando um calço periférico elasticamente deformável". a presente invenção refere-se a uma correia (1) de transmissão de forma trapezoidal, comportando um núcleo principal (10) em forma de trapézio fabricado em borracha natural e/ou sintética, contendo pelo menos um cabo (20) sensivelmente inextensível que se estende sobre todo o comprimento dessa correia (1), pelo menos uma camada (14) em elastômero reforçado de fibras, disposta em contato com o núcleo (10), próximo da base maior (2) do trapézio e pelo menos uma fina camada de revestimento externo (18) à base de tecido que envolve lateralmente a integralidade do núcleo (10) da camada reforçada (14) sobre todo o comprimento da correia (1), caracterizada pelo fato de comportar, além disso, um calço periférico de borracha (17) fabricado em um material elastômero elasticamente mais macio de deformável que aquele que constitui o núcleo (10), esse calço de borracha (17) envolvendo o núcleo (10) e a camada em elastômero reforçado de fibras (14) e sendo envolvido pela camada de revestimento (18).
