resumo patente de invenção: "gateway, e processo, programa de computador e meio de armazenagem correspondentes". a presente invenção refere-se a um gateway liga a uma primeira rede de comunicação, comportando pelo menos um terminal destinado a consumir conteúdos multimídia e uma segunda rede de comunicação via a qual o gateway é destinado a receber os conteúdos multimídia sob a forma de fluxo. o gateway: detecta (400) uma utilização de conexão ponto a ponto destinada a uma transmissão de um conteúdo multimídia, a partir de um servidor de origem para um terminal via o gateway; busca (403) uma regra de redirecionamento de conexão, em função de informações trocadas pelo servidor de origem e o terminal; estabelece (406) uma conexão ponto-multiponto para receber o conteúdo multimídia; recebe (407) o conteúdo multimídia sob a forma de um fluxo, segundo a conexão ponto-multiponto; e transmite (409) ao terminal o conteúdo multimídia sob a forma de um fluxo, segundo a conexão ponto a ponto.
