resumo patente de invenção: "sistema e método para transferir energia elétrica para um veículo usando uma pluralidade de segmentos de um arranjo de condutores". a invenção refere-se a um sistema para transferir energia elétrica para um veículo (81; 91), em particular, para um veículo limitado pela via (81), tal como um veículo leve sobre trilhos ou para um veículo rodoviário (91), tal como um ônibus, onde o sistema compreende um arranjo de condutores elétricos (conectado em 14) para produzir um campo eletromagnético alternado e para assim transferir uma energia eletromagnética para o veículo, o arranjo de condutores compreende uma pluralidade de segmentos consecutivos (conectados em 15), onde cada segmento se estende ao longo de uma diferente seção do percurso de deslocamento do veículo, o sistema compreende uma alimentação de corrente alternada para conduzir energia elétrica para uma pluralidade de segmentos, onde os segmentos são eletricamente conectados em paralelo entre si com a alimentação de corrente alternada, - cada segmento é acoplado à alimentação via uma unidade de comutação associada (13) adaptada para ativar e desativar o segmento com a conexão ou a desconexão do segmento à/da alimentação, cada segmento é acoplado à unidade de comutação associada (comutadores 16) via uma fonte de corrente constante (18, 20) adaptada para manter constante a corrente elétrica através do segmento - enquanto o segmento estiver ativado - independentemente da energia elétrica que é transferida para um ou mais veículos que percorrem ao longo do segmento.
