controle da licença do software é descrito um sistema para o controle de licença de software que é particularmente útil para ser utilizado num sistema virtualizado, como um sistema de computação em nuvem. pode ser disponibilizado um módulo para usar dentro da rede virtualizada, em que pode ser paga uma taxa de licença para uso do módulo. o módulo inclui ficheiro de licença que pode ser localizado onde for necessário. adicionalmente, é providenciado um ficheiro de licença central num nó de administração. o ficheiro de licença central está configurado de modo a poder ser operado apenas a partir desse nó de administração, evitando assim a cópia desse ficheiro. o ficheiro de licença que opera na rede virtual comunica com ficheiro de licença central. o ficheiro de licença central controla a utilização do módulo licenciado.
