Abstract
método de tratamento a invenção fornece um método para reduzir os efeitos da contaminação biológica em um sistema contendo hidrocarbonetos no qual o líquido aquoso é injetado, o método compreendendo as etapas de: adicionar continuamente uma formulação que compreende tris(hidroximetil) fosfino ou um sal de tetraquis (hidroximetil) fosfônio ao sistema por um período de tempo de um dia ou mais; monitorar a eficácia do tratamento contínuo por uma avaliação da extensão em que há qualquer efeito sobre o ambiente que seja atribuível à atividade metabólica dos micróbios ativos presentes no sistema; e, se necessário, otimizar o tratamento contínuo para garantir que o tratamento está tendo um efeito sobre a atividade metabólica dos micróbios ativos presentes no sistema; onde o tris(hidroximetil) fosfino ou o sal de tetraquis (hidroximetil) fosfônio é adicionado a uma concentração de 1 a 30 ppm, com base no volume total de líquido aquoso adicionado ao sistema, e em que a formulação é adicionada ao sistema em um estágio para minimizar a incompatibilidade com outras quaisquer substâncias químicas que sejam adicionadas ao líquido aquoso. o tratamento interrompe a atividade microbiana dos micróbios ativos no sistema contendo hidrocarbonetos e pode evitar ou reduzir os efeitos prejudiciais decorrentes da presença de micróbios ativos no sistema, como a geração de sulfeto de hidrogênio, a geração de metano e a corrosão induzida por micróbios.
