Abstract
sistema de computador, e, mídia legível em computador não transitória um sistema e método para identificar plantações ou porções dos mesmos que não estão crescendo como esperado. em uma modalidade, um sistema de computador compara um índice de área de folhagem medido de uma plantação que é determinado a partir de dados percebidos remotante para um índice de área de folhagem esperado. o sistema de computador identifica plantações ou porções de plantações onde o índice de área de folhagem medido é maior do que o índice de área de folhagem esperado e/ou plantações ou porções onde o índice de área de folhagem medido é menor do que o índice de área de folhagem esperado. em uma modalidade, a comparação é usada para identificar plantações ou porções dos mesmos onde tratamentos de silvicultura podem ser necessários. em outra modalidade, valores de índice de área de folhagem ou de índice de vegetação medidos são usados para gerenciar o crescimento de culturas secundárias em uma plantação. valores de vi ou índice de área de folhagem são comparados com valores esperados para determinar se tratamentos de silvicultura devem se aplicados.
