engenharia de tráfego para 802.1aq com base no emprego de utilização de link como feedback em um mecanismo de decisão. é proporcionado um método em uma conexão de redes ethernet (ethernet bridge) para uma distribuição de carga melhorada na rede ethernet que inclui a conexão de redes ethernet e que compreende determinar um primeiro conjunto de um ou mais caminhos mais curtos entre cada par de conexão de redes ethernet na rede ethernet, selecionar pelo menos um primeiro caminho mais curto, calcular um valor de utilização de link para cada link da rede ethernet, determinar um segundo conjunto de um ou mais caminhos mais curtos entre cada par de conexões da rede ethernet na rede ethernet, gerando um valor de utilização de caminho, por meio do que a seleção do segundo caminho mais curto na luz da utilização de caminho minimiza o desvio padrão da distribuição de carga através da rede ethernet inteira.
