dispositivo para amortecimento de movimentos pendulares e método de uso do mesmo. um amortecedor (1) para amortecer movimentos pendulares de instrumentos ou um invólucro de instrumento (8), incluindo uma placa âncora eletricamente condutora (4) e um invólucro (2), o invólucro (2) e a placa âncora (4) sendo rotativo com relação um ao outro, tanto a placa âncora (4) quanto o invólucro (2) sendo suportados em um eixo (32); o invólucro (2) sendo provido com pelo menos um ímã (50) e isto é de um modo que: em um de seus polos, o ímã (50) é provido com uma placa de apoio (52, 52<39>) constituída por um material contendo ferrita, e o ímã (50) e a placa de apoio (52) constituem um sistema de ímã (5); e o sistema de ímã (5) esté voltado para a placa âncora (4) com pelo menos um polo (54). descreve-se também um método de uso de tal amortecedor.
