Abstract

composição inseticida e método para controlar insetos usando a mesma. é fornecida uma formulação de uso tópico para o controle de um parasita externo em um animal, tal como formulação compreendendo uma quantidade eficaz de um ingrediente ectoparasiticidamente ativo e pelo menos um c~ 2~-c~ 4~ dialquileno glicol mono/di-c~ 1~- c~ ~4~ alquil éter como veículo. o ingrediente ectoparasiticidamente ativo é, de preferência, um regulador de crescimento de insetos (igr). é fornecido ainda o uso de um c~ 2~-c~ 4~ dialquileno glicol mono/di- c~ 1~-c~ 4~ alquil éter para melhorar as propriedades de uma formulação de uso tópico, em particular as propriedades de estabilidade, eficácia e resistência á água.
