Abstract
CODIFICADOR DE IMAGEM E DECODIFICADOR DE IMAGEM. Um codificador de imagem compreende um determinador do valor extremo, um conversor de ponto flutuante para integral e um codificador. O determinador do valor extremo determina um valor minimo e um valor máximo de um valor de imagem do ponto flutuante de cada pixel de uma imagem, uma imagem ou um grupo de imagens. O conversor de ponto flutuante para integral mapeia o valor da imagem do ponto flutuante de cada pixel para um valor de imagem integral, em que cada valor de imagem integral reside na faixa predefinida de valores de imagem integral. O valor de imagem do ponto flutuante minimo determinado é mapeado para um valor de imagem integral minimo da faixa predefinida dos valores de imagem integrais e o valor de imagem do ponto flutuante máximo determinado é mapeado para um valor de imagem integral máximo da faixa predefinida dos valores de imagem integrais. Ainda, codificador codifica o valor de imagem integral de cada pixel para obter e fornecer dados de imagem codificados de parte da imagem, de imagem ou do grupo de imagens.
