Abstract

TRANSDUTOR DE ULTRASSOM FOCALIZADO DE ALTA INTENSIDADE (HIFU) CURVADO Um transdutor de ultrassom focalizado de alta intensidade (HIFU) curvado compreendendo uma pIuralidade de telhas piezoelétricas curvadas de composto cerâmico tendo superfícies opostas convexa e côncava, cada telha tendo eletrodos nas superfícies eletricamente acopladas ao material composto piezoelétrico de cerâmica, e uma pluralidade de áreas de transmissão acústica localizada em cada telha e acionada através dos eletrodos na superfície convexa, as áreas de transmissão e eletrodos sendo acusticamente separadas das áreas adjacentes pelos cortes no material composto piezoelétrico de cerâmica, a pluralidade de telhas encaixando para formar uma superfície piezoelétrica do composto curvado substancialmente contínuo que transmite energia acústica HIFU.
