Abstract

O Sifão Horizontal,proposto neste documento, é um dispositivo com aplicação em tubulações hidráulicas.O objetivo do Sifão Horizontal é permitir a passagem de líquidos através de suas hélices duplas internas, onde o líquido remanescente funciona como bloqueio para o retorno dos gases provenientes da tubulação e dos insetos para o ambiente. A vantagem do Sifão Horizontal é seu formato compacto e igual a um cano comum, que não ocupa muito espaço nas instalações como os sifões convencionais.
