COSMETIC FORMULATION FOR FOOT HEALTH CARE AND USE OF THE SAME APPLICATION FIELD

DESCRIPTION OF THE STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE

[001] The health of the feet is extremely important for an individual, as these are the support base of the human organism and the main support of the body weight, being subject to a great tension and wear, which causes fatigue that is often reflected for the rest of the body.

[002] In addition to fatigue, one of the main causes of the feeling of tiredness in the feet is poor circulation, which can cause the sensation of numbness, cramps and discoloration of the skin and nails. In more severe cases, poor blood circulation can cause chronic venous insufficiency, the symptoms of which include pain, a feeling of heaviness or tiredness in the lower limbs, cramps, itching, skin irritation, edema and varicose veins.

[003] Therefore, it is evident that the feet are of great importance for our body, allowing their interaction with the external environment, making the individual capable of executing the movement and of capturing and perceiving stimuli that are sent to us by the external environment, in this way. , maintaining healthy feet is extremely important for the individual, as they are the guarantee of well-being and mobility.

[004] In research carried out in specialized databases, documents related to formulations for foot relief were detected, such as the document under number PI 0004874-7, filed on October 17, 2000, under the title "COSMETIC COMPOSITION WITH FUNCTION TYPE CREME FOOT RELIEF ", which comprises a cosmetic preparation that provides relief from tired feet, promotes deodorization and soothes irritations, dryness, roughness and calluses, also presenting biocidal properties.

[005] Said cosmetic composition in the form of cream comprises one or more emulsifying agents; one or more emollient agents; one or more biocidal agents; one or more agents with protective function of the skin; one or more agents with a cooling function; one or more wetting agents; one or more preservative agents; in addition to other components known from the state of the art such as water, fragrances, among others.

[006] According to one of the illustrative examples of said prior art document, a basic formulation of said cream would comprise demineralized water, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ceto-stearyl alcohol, ethoxylated ceto-stearyl alcohol, glycerin mono / distearate, cetyl palmitate , dicocoil ethyl hydroxyethylammonium metasulfate, shea butter, hydrolyzed and quaternized wheat protein, glycerin, benzalkonium chloride, triclosan, cyclomethicone, menthol, propylene glycol, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate and fragrances.

[007] Unlike the present invention, said document has ingredients that can cause skin irritations or allergies.

[008] Another document detected was the US patent No. 5,209,932, filed on November 30, 1989, under the title “FOOT CARE COMPOSITIONS”, which is a liquefiable and porous powder composition for topical application on the feet. Particularly, micro porous cellulosic powders, such as cellulose acetates or nitrates, which are revealed as vehicles of high liquid content for the delivery of active ingredients for foot care. The resulting powders allow the application of the foot care solution simply by rubbing or otherwise applying the formulation to the skin in such a way that the powder liquefies and appears to disappear. After application, cellulosic powders loaded with liquid break down into particles that do not easily pass beyond the initial layers of the skin, allowing the slow release of the preparation for foot care for absorption into the skin, and not immediate, like the present invention.

OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
