Desta forma, a motocicleta ficará coberta e protegida. Para que a cortina retorne ao interior do tubo, o usuário soltará o gancho da cortina que estará presa ao bagageiro e ela se recolherá automaticamente para o interior do tubo pela força da mola interna. A cortina do protetor será de fácil acesso e poderá ter em sua face externa impressas propagandas ou outros tipos de desenhos personalizados.
