Abstract

mancal auxiliar para sistema de rotor magneticamente suspenso um conjunto compreende um eixo rotativo (10) suportado em relação a um alojamento estacionário (16) por pelo menos um mancal magnético ativo (12) que apresenta uma folga de ar radial média (e1) e pelo menos um mancal auxiliar (18) que compreende, por um lado, um casquilho (21) fixado ao alojamento (16) e, por outro lado, uma manga (20) fixada ao eixo rotativo (10). o casquilho (21) e a manga (20) possuem superfícies opostas (24, 23) definindo um espaço (e2) que é menor do que a folga radial média (e1). o casquilho (21) e a manga (20), cada, exibem simetria em torno de um eixo longitudinal do eixo (10), embora tendo diferentes perfis em uma seção transversal longitudinal incluindo o eixo longitudinal para otimizar a distribuição da pressão de contato quando o eixo rotativo (10) repousa no mancal auxiliar.
