Abstract

"APARELHO DE ADMINISTRAçãO DE MEDICAMENTO". Um medicamento a ser infuso dentro de um paciente é contido numa seringa ou frasco tendo um êmbolo deslocável para ejetar o medicamento para fora através de uma abertura de injeção dentro de um conjunto de administração. O movimento do êmbolo do frasco/seringa dispensadora de medicamento é controlado por uma seringa acionadora tendo um pistão ou êmbolo para ejetar quer um fluido compressível, quer não compressível, através de um elemento de resistência de fluido. Força motriz para o pistão da seringa acionadora é provida por uma mola de carga constante. Uma ligação adequada é provida para acoplamento do pistão da seringa acionadora ao êmbolo da seringa de administração de medicamento. Diversos tipos de elementos de controle de taxa de fluxo para utilização com a seringa acionadora são descritos.
