Abstract
"SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA MONITORAçãO DE UM RESERVATóRIO DE HIDROCARBONETO USANDO CAMPOS ELETROMAGNéTICOS DE FONTE CONTROLADA". Descreve-se um sistema e método para monitoração em tempo real de mudanças em um reservatório de hidrocarboneto (4) durante extração, incluindo a montagem de uma fonte eletromagnética (16) para transmissão de uma primeira pluralidade de campos eletromagnéticos. Uma pluralidade de antenas de solo oceânico (30a - 30d) é distribuída sobre uma área do solo oceânico (8) correspondendo ao reservatório (4), em que cada antena (30a 30d) compreende um arranjo de eletrodos de recepção (30a - 30d) adaptados para receberem uma segunda pluralidade de campos eletromagnéticos e gerarem sinais correspondendo aos campos detectados. Um processador de registro de dados recebe os sinais durante o tempo e armazena dados correspondentes aos sinais. Diferentes combinações de eletrodos de recepção são usadas em combinação com as antenas de transmissão para medição dos campos vertical, radial e/ou de azimute. A transmissão e a detecção dos campos pode ser executada continuamente ou a intervalos de tempo durante a extração de hidrocarbonetos para estimar a taxa e a eficiência de extração.
