"MéTODO PARA O GERENCIAMENTO DE DIREITOS DIGITAIS, LICENçA DE GERENCIAMENTO DE DIREITOS DIGITAIS E APARELHO". é aqui fornecido um método e aparelho para o gerenciamento dos direitos digitais. Várias formas de autorização são permitidas, com cada forma de autorização sendo dependente de uma ação tomada no conteúdo digital. Em particular, quando a autorização com base no servidor está indisponível, operações menos arriscadas são permitidas ao efetuar um esquema de autorização interna. Assim, segurança mais alta oferecida por um DRM com base no servidor é necessária para ações arriscadas, e no entanto ações não arriscadas no conteúdo digital ainda poderão ser tomadas quando o servidor está indisponível.
