Abstract

"MéTODO E SISTEMA PARA COMBINAR CóDIGOS EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO". Um codificador adiciona redundância a um bloco de bits de informação a serem transmitidos por meio de diferentes estações em um sistema de comunicação. A redundância permite a decodificação dos símbolos recebidos de menos de um bloco codificado completo de informações. Os símbolos recebidos das diferentes estações são combinados antes da decodificação. A presente invenção refere-se a comunicações broadcast ou multicast, também conhecidas como comunicações de ponto-a-multipontos, em um sistema de comunicação cabeado ou sem fio.
