Abstract

"DESPOLIMERIZAçãO DE POLISSACARìDEOS SOLúVEIS EM áGUA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para preparar uma solução de um polissacarídeo ou éter de polissacarídeo tendo uma viscosidade de 1.000 mpa.s ou menos compreendendo adicionar a um meio aquoso um polissacarídeo ou éter de polissacarídeo e um agente de despolimerização alcalino. é também descrita uma composição sólida compreendendo um éter de polissacarídeo e um agente de despolimerização alcalino. Preferivelmente, o agente de despolimerização é selecionado do grupo consistindo em percarbonato de sódio, perborato de sódio, peróxido de carbamida em mistura com uma base, persulfato de sódio em mistura com uma base, ácido 3-cloroperoxiben zóico em mistura com uma base, e misturas destes.
