Abstract

"CONECTOR ELéTRICO E MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UM CORPO DE CONECTOR ELéTRICO". Trata-se de um conector elétrico que pode incluir um corpo de conector que tem uma passagem que o atravessa. O corpo de conector pode incluir uma primeira camada adjacente à passagem, uma segunda camada que circunda a primeira camada e que compreende um material de elastómero termoplástico (TPE) isolante, e uma terceira camada que circunda a segunda camada. A terceira camada tem de preferência uma resistividade relativamente baixa e também pode incluir um material de TPE semicondutor. Em algumas realizações, a primeira camada também pode incluir um material de TPE semicondutor. As camadas de material de TPE podem ser sobremoldadas para aumentar desse modo a velocidade e a eficiência da produção, desse modo reduzindo os custos de produção.
