Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA REDUZIR O MONITORAMENTO NO MODO COMPRIMIDO NO ENLACE ASCENDENTE EM UM DISPOSITIVO DE COMUNICAçãO". Um aparelho e método para reduzir o monitoramento no modo comprimido no enlace ascendente em um dispositivo de comunicação inclui uma primeira etapa de monitorar um canal vizinho e medir a potência de sinal do canal. A dessensibilização do receptor de monitoramento é estimada para determinar um limite, que é comparado com a potência do sinal. Se a potência do sinal é inferior ao limite, um novo canal vizinho é monitorado para ver se a potência do sinal muda. Se não mudar, o sinal medido é provavelmente interferência. Neste caso, o dispositivo de comunicação pode solicitar o modo comprimido de enlace ascendente para obter uma medição precisa da potência do sinal. Apenas sob estas condições o modo comprimido no enlace ascendente é justificado, em vez do modo comprimido em tempo integral, assim mantendo capacidade de dados.
