Abstract

"FERRAMENTA DE CORTE". A presente invenção provê uma ferramenta de corte (20) tendo um corpo de ferramenta (22) no qual um inserto de corte (24) é preso a um alojamento de inserto (28) no corpo de ferramenta por um prendedor (26). Em contraste ao uso de um parafuso de aperto roscado, o prendedor permanece em engate com o corpo de ferramenta durante todos os estágios da fixação e aperto, ou desaperto e remoção do inserto de corte. O prendedor é rotativo entre uma posição de aperto e uma posição de não aperto por meio de uma de duas chaves. Uma chave sendo capaz de engatar em uma das extremidades do prendedor, e a outra chave sendo capaz de engatar na outra das pontas do prendedor. Isto é particularmente conveniente para circunstâncias onde a aproximação a uma ou à outra das extremidades do prendedor pode estar obstruída.
