Abstract

"SAPATA DE FREIO PARA A FRENAGEM DE UM CABO". A presente invenção refere-se a uma sapata de freio (12) e sua utilização. A sapata de freio (12) serve para a frenagem de um cabo (10), especialmente em uma instalação para limitar a velocidade de um elevador. A sapata apresenta uma camada de frenagem (14) com uma superfície ativa total virada para o cabo (10) a ser freado. A camada de frenagem (14) pode ser deslocada a uma posição ativa na qual sua superfície ativa total encosta no cabo (10); esta possui, pelo menos, duas regiões de camadas (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5), sendo que sempre regiões de camadas adjacentes apresentam materiais distintos. As regiões de camadas (14.1, 14.2, 14.3, 14.4, 14.5), ao menos duas, encostam na sua posição ativa com suas superfícies ativas juntas no cabo (10), de maneira que podem ser aproveitadas propriedades ativas distintas dos materiais simultaneamente.
