Abstract

"MéTODO PARA FORMAçãO DE IMAGENS DE MRI-BOLD ON LINE, SENSIBILIZADA". Método de reprodução de imagens on line por ressonância magnética (MRI), Dependente do Nível de Oxigenação do Sangue (BOLD), para guia ou monitoração clínica funcional de uma modalidade terapêutica, que envolve tratamento por um sensibilizante que, sob excitação pela radiação sensibilizante apropriada, inicia o consumo de oxigênio local, que compreende: (i) gerar uma imagem de MR ponderada por BOLD da região de interesse visada dentro do corpo do paciente (tempo t~ 0~); (ii) administrar o referido sensibilizante ao paciente; (iii) irradiar a região visada, enquanto o paciente é submetido à reprodução de imagem de MR contínua; (iv) gerar uma única imagem ou uma pluralidade de imagens de MR de BOLD seq³enciais ponderadas com T2^ *^ durante e/ou após a irradiação (tempo t); (v) processar os dados gerados no tempo t~ 0~ e no tempo t e gerar um mapa de diferença ou relação codificado por cores, em uma base de pixel por pixel; e (vi) analisar os dados processados. O método é preferivelmente aplicado à terapia fotodinâmica (PDT).
