Abstract

"CONJUNTO TERMINAL DE RODA DE VEìCULO COM CONJUNTO DE ENGRENAGEM DUPLA DE REDUçãO". Um conjunto terminal de roda para um veículo de transporte em massa inclui um eixo de saída montado em um cubo de roda para acionar uma roda do veículo. O eixo de saída é acionado por um conjunto de engrenagens montado dentro de uma caixa de engrenagens e acoplado operativamente a um eixo de entrada. O conjunto de engrenagens inclui uma engrenagem de entrada acionada pelo eixo de entrada, uma primeira engrenagem de redução em engate entrelaçado com a engrenagem de entrada, uma segunda engrenagem de redução acoplada operativamente à primeira engrenagem de redução para rotação com aquela, e uma engrenagem de saída em engate entrelaçado com a segunda engrenagem de redução. As primeira e segunda engrenagens de redução são suportadas por um eixo comum que está posicionado entre os eixos de entrada e saída. A engrenagem de entrada e a primeira engrenagem de redução estão posicionadas do lado de fora da engrenagem de saída e rolamentos associados. Esta configuração de dupla redução permite que a largura do corredor do veículo seja mantida enquanto propicia um desnível mais profundo que permite que o assoalho do veículo seja baixado para uma posição mais próxima do solo.
