Abstract

"EQUIPAMENTO E MéTODO PARA USO DE UMA CHAVE DE CIFRA EM UMA REDE DE COMUNICAçõES HìBRIDA". é descrito um método para usar uma chave cifradora em uma estação móvel (18) a partir de uma primeira estação base (12) em um primeiro sistema de comunicações celular controlado por uma primeira estação de controle de comutação móvel (10) para uma segunda estação base em um segundo sistema celular diferente, controlado por uma segunda estação de controle de comutação móvel. O método compreende gerar para a estação móvel uma chave cifrada para uso pela estação móvel durante a comunicação no segundo sistema de comunicações celular. A chave cifrada é gerada pela estação móvel a partir de uma chave privada designada à estação móvel para o segundo sistema de comunicações celular e a partir de um número aleatório gerado pelo segundo sistema de comunicações celular. A chave cifrada é a seguir comunicada ao primeiro sistema móvel e um código longo privado é gerado para uso pela estação móvel durante a comunicação no primeiro sistema de comunicações celular.
