Abstract

"FERRAMENTA E INSERTO DE CORTE". Uma ferramenta de corte (10) tem pelo menos uma cavidade receptora de inserto (16) com um inserto de corte (14) retido na mesma. A cavidade receptora de inserto (16) tem uma parede de base (22) e uma parede lateral (24) direcionada transversalmente à parede de base (22) com um recesso circular (26) tendo uma parede periférica (30) estendendo-se descendentemente da parede de base (22). Um furo rosqueado (32) estende-se descendentemente da parede inferior (28) do recesso (26). O inserto de corte (14) tem uma superfície superior (46) uma superfície inferior (48) e uma protuberância cilíndrica (52) tendo superfície periférica (56) estendendo-se descendentemente da superfície inferior (54). Um furo traspassante (57) estende-se através do inserto de corte (14) a partir da superfície superior (46). Um parafuso de retenção (34) atravessa o furo traspassante (57) e encaixa por roscas o furo rosqueado (32), com a superfície periférica (50) apoiando a parede periférica (30) e com a superfície inferior (48) apoiando a parede de base (22).
