Abstract

"DISPOSIçãO PARA FREIO AUXILIAR EM VEìCULO A MOTOR". A presente invenção se refere a uma disposição pertinente a um freio suplementar em um veículo a motor. O veículo incorpora um dispositivo de controle (14), através do qual uma ação de frenagem desejada pretende ser iniciada por um motorista e um dispositivo de aplicação de frenagem (15, 32) para ativação do freio suplementar (11, 30), de forma que este último supra uma ação de frenagem a pelo menos uma dentre as rodas energizadas (2) do veículo, através de um mecanismo de transmissão de movimento, o qual incorpora pelo menos parte de uma linha de acionamento (3, 10) do veículo. A disposição incorpora uma unidade de monitoramento (16), designada a receber informações pertinentes à ação de frenagem desejada e um sensor (17, 31) designado a medir um parâmetro, o qual apresenta um valor que mantém uma relação com a ação de frenagem suprida pelo freio suplementar (11, 30), a unidade de monitoramento (16) designando-se à determinação da ação de frenagem suprida e à diferença entre a ação de frenagem suprida e a ação de frenagem desejada.
