Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO DE CAMPO PARA USO EM UM SISTEMA DE CONTROLE DE PROCESSO, MéTODO PARA COMUNICAR COM UM DISPOSITIVO DE CAMPO ACOPLADO A UM BARRAMENTO DE DADOS DIGITAL, E, MéTODO PARA CONFIGURAR LOCALMENTE UM DISPOSITIVO DE CAMPO". Um dispositivo de campo inteligente de multi-protocolo usa um protocolo de comunicação Fieldbus para comunicar informação de controle de processo e usa um protocolo de comunicação HART para habilitar configuração local do dispositivo de campo por um comunicador de HART portátil. O dispositivo de campo inteligente de multi-protocolo inclui uma primeira interface de comunicações acoplada comunicativamente a um barramento de dados digital que é adaptado para processar comunicações de HART que são recebidas e que são enviadas a um comunicador portátil de HART. O dispositivo de campo inteligente de multi-protocolo ademais inclui uma segunda interface de comunicações acoplada comunicativamente ao barramento de dados digital que é adaptada para processar comunicações de Fieldbus.
