Abstract

"MéTODO DE FORMAR UMA ESTRUTURA DE CINTA EM UM PNEU". A formação de uma estrutura de cinta (2) se processa assenta, diretamente sobre a estrutura de carcaça (3) de um pneu sendo processado (1), uma camada de assentamento (16) formada de um elemento em tira contínuo (16) de material elastomérico diretamente proveniente de uma fieira de extrusão. O elemento em tira (16a) tem uma espessura diferenciada em suas bordas opostas para dar origem à reentrâncias de preensão circunferentes (18) sobre a camada de assentamento (16). A seguir, sobre a camada de assentamento (16) uma tira de cinta primária (6) é formada que e obtida pelo enrolamento de um cordonel desencapado contínuo em espiras (6a) dispostas em relação axial lado a lado. Um cordonel do tipo de alto alongamento inicial é preferivelmente empregado e é enrolado substancialmente na ausência de aplicação de esforço de tração. Uma camada de recobrimento (19) produzido da mesma maneira da camada de assentamento (16) pode ser subseq³entemente assentada sobre a tira de cinta primária (6).
