Abstract

"USO DE UM ALGINATO, COMPOSIçãO HERBICIDA AQUOSA, MéTODO PARA PREPARAR A MESMA, E, PROCESSO PARA MATAR OU CONTROLAR ESPéCIES DE PLANTA NãO DESEJADAS". O uso de um alginato como um agente formador de gel deflagrado pelo pH na fabricação de uma composição que compreende um sal de paraquat, um sal de diquat ou uma mistura destes, a composição compreendendo ainda um emético e/ou purgante, tal que um efeito de gel deflagrado pelo pH ocorra no pH ácido do suco gástrico humano. O agente formador de gel é preferivelmente usado na ausência substancial de trissilicato de magnésio e preferivelmente tem uma viscosidade de solução a 1 % em água de 2 a 2000 mpas."USE OF AN ALGINATE, WATER HERBICIDE COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PREPARING IT, AND PROCESS FOR KILLING OR CONTROLING UNWANTED PLANT SPECIES". The use of an alginate as a pH-triggered gel-forming agent in the manufacture of a composition comprising a paraquat salt, a diquat salt or a mixture thereof, the composition further comprising an emetic and / or purgative, such that an effect pH triggered gel occurs in the acidic pH of human gastric juice. The gel-forming agent is preferably used in the substantial absence of magnesium trisilicate and preferably has a 1% solution viscosity in water of 2 to 2000 mpas.
