Abstract
"VáLVULA DE SEGURANçA PARA RESERVATóRIOS DE FLUIDOS SOB PRESSãO". A válvula é destinada a ser aberta em uma temperatura predeterminada para liberar o fluido sob pressão fora do reservatório e sua abertura é desencadeada pela fusão de um material fundível. Ela comporta um corpo em forma de bocal (10) cuja extremidade aberta é exposta à pressão do gás e cujo fundo é fechado com exceção de um orifício minúsculo (12). A parede lateral do corpo (10) comporta pelo menos uma abertura radial (14) e o corpo (10) fica engatado, pelo seu fundo, por deslizamento, em uma tampa (16) de forma complementar, ficando aí fixado com o auxílio do material fundível (18). A tampa (16) comporta pelo menos um acesso à atmosfera (20) e, após a fusão do material fundível (18), pode ser deslocada em relação ao corpo (10) até que cada acesso (20) se comunique com uma abertura lateral (14) do corpo (10).
