Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO PARA DETERMINAR UM PARâMETRO FìSICO DE POLPA DE MADEIRA". A invenção está relacionada a uma técnica de microscopia por fluorescência para a medição de propriedades físicas e químicas de partículas do tipo fibra individuais. A intensidade da fluorescência por unidade de comprimento é mostrada como sendo proporcional à grossura da fibra. Além disso, outras propriedades da fibra, tais como comprimento, largura e espessura da parede da fibra, podem ser obtidas de imagens de fluorescência, e o conteúdo de lignina do espectro de fluorescência. A presente invenção proporciona um processo para a determinação da uniformidade das amostras de polpa em termos de propriedades físicas e químicas das partículas do tipo fibra individuais, sendo em particular de fibras de polpa de madeira.
