Abstract

"CONDUITES DE CONEXãO PARA FLUIDOS". O método e aparelho descritos são direcionados à formação de uma conexão ou torneira de fluido através da parede (1) de uma tubulação, particularmente destinada à criação de uma "torneira quente" de tubulações submarinas. O método compreende o encaixe de uma peça de conexão (2) possuindo uma superfície de montagem que estende em torno da localização de torneira (2g) e pelo menos parcialmente sobre a localização da torneira (2n) e uma parede de conexão (2h) que cerca a localização de torneira para fornecer uma abertura (2k) adaptada ou conexão subseq³ente de um conduite para completar uma conexão de fluido. A peça de conexão é unida à tubulação pela solda de costura por fricção realizada (4, 6) dentro da dita abertura. O material da localização de torneira é removido (AC indica depois do corte) para definir uma abertura e fornecer a dita conexão de fluido cercada de perto pela solda (6) entre a peça de conexão e a parede.
