Abstract
"SISTEMA DE PROPULSãO". Um sistema de propulsão compreende uma passagem de fluxo (173) tendo uma entrada (175) para comunicação com uma fonte de fluido de trabalho, como, por exemplo, água salgada e uma saída (177). Uma zona de mistura (209) fica disposta dentro da passagem de fluxo (173) entre a entrada (175) e a saída (177). Um meio de injeção incluindo um bocal anular (217) é provido de modo a injetar um fluido de acionamento compressível a quente (175), como, por exemplo, vapor, para a zona de mistura (209) em uma direção de fluxo para a saída (177). A disposição é tal que a interação entre o vapor e a água salgada na zona de mistura (207) desenvolva uma redução de pressão na zona de mistura (207) a fim de fazer com que a água salgada seja arrastada da fonte para a zona de mistura (207) e impelida para a saída (177). Um sistema de recuperação térmica compreende um circuito refrigerante com um trocador térmico de modo a extrair calor de uma fonte térmica a fim de vaporizar um refrigerante no circuito e um meio para converter a energia térmica no refrigerante vaporizado em torque, e um meio de bocal (217) tendo uma entrada, uma saída (177) e uma passagem de fluxo (173), cujo tamanho é seletivamente variável são também apresentados.
