Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO PARA IMPULSIONAR UM LINGOTE DE GUSA AO LONGO DE UMA TUBULAçãO"<D>. Trata-se de um método para impulsionar um lingote de gusa (9) ao longo de uma tubulação subaquática preenchida com ar (1) que compreende as etapas de abrir uma entrada de tubulação (3) para permitir a entrada de água no meio de tubulação a uma pressão correspondente à pressão da água ambiente em uma extremidade proximal (8) da tubulação, e acoplar a saida da tubulação (5) a uma extremidade distal (6) da tubulação a um sistema de circulação de fluido (10,11, 17) em que o ar é mantido a uma pressão suficientemente abaixo da pressão da água ambiente na extremidade proximal da tubulação para criar um diferencial de pressão no lingote de gusa grande o suficiente para fazer com que o ar na tubulação seja circulado a partir de sua extremidade distal, pelo que o lingote de gusa é impelido ao longo da tubulação. Também é descrito um método para impulsionar um lingote de gusa ao longo de uma tubulação (1) quando ela estiver preeenchida com água, em que a saída da tubulação (5) está conectada a um sistema de circulação de fluido em que o fluido é mantido a uma pressão suficientemente abaixo da pressão de água ambiente na extremidade distal (6) da tubulação para fazer com que a água à frente do lingote de gusa seja circulada a partir da saída na extremidade distal da tubulação para o sistema de circulação de fluido.
