Abstract
"COMPOSIçãO DE INTERPOLìMERO ENXERTADO, SEU USO E PRODUTOS OBTIDOS". A presente invenção compreende um polímero enxertado contendo uma cadeia principal de um ou mais interpolímeros substancialmente aleatórios compreendendo: (1) unidades poliméricas derivadas de: (a) pelo menos um monómero aromático de vinila ou vinilideno, ou (b) pelo menos um monómero de vinila ou vinilideno alifático ou cicloalifático impedido, ou (c) uma combinação de pelo menos um monómero de vinila ou vinilideno aromático e pelo menos pelo menos um monómero de vinila ou vinilideno alifático ou cicloalifático impedido, e (2) unidades poliméricas derivadas de pelo menos uma olefina selecionado do grupo consistindo de etileno e <244>-olefinas C~ 3-20~; e (3) opcionalmente unidades poliméricas derivadas de um ou mais monómeros polimerizáveis etilenicamente insaturados outros que não aqueles derivados de (1) e (2), a dita cadeia principal sendo enxertada com um ou mais monómeros orgânicos olefinicamente insaturados. The present invention comprises a grafted polymer containing a backbone of one or more substantially random interpolymers comprising: (1) polymeric units derived from: (a) at least one vinyl or vinylidene aromatic monomer, or (b) at least one monomer of hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinylidene or vinylidene, or (c) a combination of at least one aromatic vinyl or vinylidene monomer and at least one hindered aliphatic or cycloaliphatic vinyl monomer, and (2) polymer units derived from at least an olefin selected from the group consisting of ethylene and C 3-20 β-olefins; and (3) optionally polymeric units derived from one or more ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable monomers other than those derived from (1) and (2), said main chain being grafted with one or more olefinically unsaturated organic monomers. In a preferred embodiment, such grafted polymers were prepared using a reactive extrusion process.
