Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO E APLICADOR PARA LIBERAçãO DE SUBSTâNCIA TóPICA". Uma composição de hidrogel polimerizado e um aplicador para hidratar ou desidratar uma superfície, particularmente uma superfície dermatológica, a qual ela é aplicada e um método para formar a composição. A composição compreende uma mistura de dois materiais polimerizáveis, um sistema de catalisador de redox e um meio de polimerização de duas partes. A percentagem em peso de cada elemento na composição pode ser variada dentro de faixas de percentagem estabelecidas. A faixa na qual a hidratação e desidratação ocorre pode ser alterada de forma controlada por variação de certos elementos da composição. O aplicador inclui uma seção central termoplástica e duas seções de reservatório cada uma tendo uma área de estocagem de reservatório para reter umidade e/ou medicamentos. A composição é unida mecanicamente em cada uma das seções de reservatório e então hidratada.
