Abstract
"MéTODO E APARELHAGEM PARA FABRICAR PAPEL OU CARTONAGEM E PRODUTO OBTIDO". São descritos métodos para fazer um papel ou cartonagem. De acordo com um método, micropartículas de alumina coloidal catiónica fibrosa e um polímero são introduzidos em uma polpa para fabricação de papel para formar uma polpa tratada tendo propriedades de retenção melhoradas. As micropartículas de alumina coloidal catiónica fibrosa são preferivelmente um sal de acetato fibroso catiónico de alumina de boemita, tendo um potencial zeta maior que 25 e uma razão em peso de alumínio para acetato de menos que cerca de 4. O polímero pode ser um polímero catiónico, um polímero não-iónico, um polímero anfótero sob condições catiónicas, ou combinações destes. A polpa pode também pode ser tratada com pelo menos um coagulante, pelo menos um floculante, pelo menos um amido catiónico, pelo menos uma enzima celulítica, e/ou outros aditivos para polpas para fabricação de papel convencionais. Methods for making a paper or carton are described. According to one method, fibrous cationic colloidal alumina microparticles and a polymer are introduced into a papermaking pulp to form a treated pulp having improved retention properties. The fibrous cationic colloidal alumina microparticles are preferably a bohemian alumina cationic fibrous acetate salt having a zeta potential greater than 25 and an aluminum to acetate weight ratio of less than about 4. The polymer may be a cationic polymer a nonionic polymer, an amphoteric polymer under cationic conditions, or combinations thereof. The pulp may also be treated with at least one coagulant, at least one flocculant, at least one cationic starch, at least one cellulitic enzyme, and / or other conventional pulp additives. The resulting pulps are transformed into a pulp sheet and then drained to form a paper or carton. Other papermaking processes are also described, as is a papermaking apparatus for carrying out the methods. Paper or carton containing dry pulp that has been treated with fibrous cationic colloidal alumina microparticles and polymer is also described.
