Abstract
"CAIXA DE MARCHAS DE VEìCULOS AUTOMOTIVOS". Caixa de marchas automática de múltiplos estágios, compreendendo uma caixa de marchas básica com uma quantidade de marchas e uma engrenagem de separação de dois estágios, acoplada à frente de e em série com a caixa de marchas básica. A comutação é efetuada por meio de cilindros de ar comprimido, os quais são controlados por um computador de controle (45), o qual se encontra programado para colocar a engrenagem de separação em uma posição neutra no caso de um sinal de alimentação de entrada, representando uma aceleração zero.
