Abstract

"VEìCULO SUBMARINO AUTÈNOMO E MéTODO PARA LANçAR UM CONJUNTO DE CABOS E SENSORES NO FUNDO DO OCEANO USANDO UM VEìCULO SUBMARINO AUTÈNOMO". São descritos um método e um veículo para lançar e recuperar um aparelho sísmico no fundo do oceano e para obter dados do aparelho sísmico. As embarcações robóticas submersíveis lançam e recuperam o aparelho sísmico no fundo do oceano a profundidades de até 5.000 metros. A embarcação pode separar-se do aparelho sísmico e retornar para reiniciar as operações sísmicas. Um braço robótico manipula o aparelho sísmico e o fixa no fundo do oceano utilizando prendedores para acoplar ativamente o aparelho sísmico ao fundo do oceano.
